Ryedale GP is the penultimate race of the British Cycling National Elite Series.
Covering 165km on the tough hilly roads of North Yorkshire around Ampleforth.
As the race tackled the first climb after only 7km, the peloton was under pressure early. By the final 40km a lead group of 25 riders had established, and despite numerous attacks, stayed together to the finish.
David Hird finished 12th, James Hartley finished 18th after suffering with cramp in the final few kms.
