How did you get into cycling:
I enjoyed doing a bit of mountain biking with friends and family, before joining Stratford Cycling Club at the age of 11. From then, I started competing in road, cyclocross and mountain biking races.
Earliest cycling memory:
Riding around the lake at Arrow Valley Country Park, Redditch, with my family.
Favourite training route:
There are lots of good routes around where I live, with my favourite rides going deep into the Cotswolds.
Favourite film:
The Night Agent.
Favourite music:
I enjoy a wide range of music, with Arctic Monkeys being my favourite band.
“Must do” pre race ritual:
I like to think through potential in-race scenarios, considering, carefully, any pre-planned tactics, and then make sure that I complete a good warm-up.

Paris-Roubaix.
