Beaumont Trophy was the final event in the British Cycling National Elite series. The race is 160km, held in Northumberland on heavy rolling roads.
Jack Hartley made what would become the winning break of the race. Unfortunately Jack crashed and had to abandon, having sustained a knee injury.
The lads made the best of the situation, and David finished 13th.
