The last month has been pretty full on. The team have ridden 4 National A/UCI races.
Chorley GP was our first big race. Louis made an imprssive debut at this level, chasing in the finale with JLT to join the 2nd group on the road, riding for 14th place. Next was The Rutland Cicle Classic UCI 1.2. this is a unique race, with 11 non-tarmac sections which make for an interesting race. The lads rode incredibly well and held their own in the front group until a total of 8 punctures put pay to any top 20 ambitions.
After Joe finished 15th in last years Klondike GP we were optimistic we could perform well again at this hilly race. Louis did the business finishing 19th, this despite puncturing 2km from the finish at which point he was riding for 13th place. Lincoln GP was the final race in The HSBC BC Spring Cup, 103 miles, 13 times up the cobbled climb of Michealgate. Always a great entertaining race with huge crowds, Louis finished a very respectable 32nd and Joe and Harry a little further back.
These races have given our new riders great experience to take forward. Next target is The Giro del Mon, a 3-day stage race.
